I had the chance to take these two beautiful 14-yr-olds out for a photo shoot a few weeks ago.

They were lots of fun to photograph and I love how the photos turned out!

Getting in Synch!

Tonight was the first session of Jaymi's synchronized swimming class, "Synchro for Fun".
She was reeeeeealllly nervous and scared, not really knowing what to expect. She has been so excited about it for so many months, and when it finally came time to go, she just got really scared.
She made a new friend right away, and by the time the session was over, she was a bit more comfortable than at the beginning.

Childhood Friend

On a recent visit back home, I got the chance to reconnect with a wonderful, 'old' friend. I have known Holly since I was very young but I haven't talked to her in a long time.
She has always been so beautiful, and I convinced her to let me do a photo shoot with her while I was out there.

Dem Bones

I have been teaching Jaymi about anatomy for the past two weeks. She loves learning the names of the bones and organs. We bought this great skeleton from the dollar store and labelled his bones too. :)

I'm back!

After a long time away from my blog, I'm finally back.
Hopefully I can keep this up. ;)

Life is full right now ..... of family & friends, Sparks & swimming, homeschooling & school, birthday parties & playdates, redecorating & errands, photography & relaxation.

Butterfly Gardens

Last week I took Jaymi to Butterfly Gardens, and we invited Tania and Hannah to come with us.
We go there every summer and it is always a fantastic place for photos.
Jaymi is amazing.....the butterflies seem to be attracted to her. Every time we go they always land on her and I end up with a great picture. :)
