I took Jaymi downtown recently, during a festival called Symphony Splash. We have this festival every summer here. At night there is a symphony performance with fireworks, in the harbour, but during the day there are lots of vendors selling their items, as well as children's activities.
The symphony has a tent set up with various instruments, where they show children how to play them and allow them to try out whichever instruments they like.
After looking trying out the instruments and going to Undersea Gardens (a favourite for Jaymi) we sat down by a little pond and had an ice cream bar. Yum!
