Vancouver Vacation

We went to Vancouver for Spring Break, and had a blast!

Looking in between the high-rise building of the city, and seeing gorgous snow-covered mountains and ocean, was amazing!

We had a beautiful view from our hotel room!

Of course, one of the tourist sites we had to go to, was Science World. Jaymi loved it.

We took the Skyride (gondola) up to the top of Grouse Mountain, where it was covered in snow, and there was a lot to do.
The best part was the 'snow limo', where someone pushes you from behind, and you're basically in a kind of ski chair. We went pretty fast too - twice down the mountain, and two chair lifts back up. Jaymi had a permanent smile on her face the whole time.

They also had a great sleigh ride that we took.

We also crossed the Capilano Suspension Bridge, which was another awesome thing to do!

The bridge isn't all there is to do there. There is a whole Treetop Adventure thing, a passport to work through, as well as a Rainforest Explorer Kids' Programme!

We took every kind of transportation we could find, throughout our trip!
Cab, city bus, shuttle bus, ferry, Seabus, Aquabus, Skyride, chair lift, sleigh, snow limo, car, Skytrain, and float plane!

Of course, one of our main goals was to go to the Vancouver Aquarium. Jaymi was in her element, especially when she got to see the resident sea turtle, Skoona.
She could have stood there all day.

The Aquarium has tons of shows as well. Beluga whales, dolphins, sharks, birds of prey, etc..

We ended our trip with one of Jaymi's favourite parts...something she has always wanted to do...fly on a float plane. We landed right in the Victoria harbour - home sweet home!
