Science Fair

Last week Jaymi's school had their annual Science Fair. The Gr.1 class enters as a group, doing a class project. Jaymi's teacher, however, asked Jaymi if she would like to do her own separate project as well. She agreed, and did a project that was close to her heart - Pollution in the Ocean.
Not only was she the only Gr.1 student to enter an individual science project in the fair, but the science teacher and judge (after grilling her on her info and commenting on all of her hard work) was so impressed that he decided to award her a prize (the younger grades aren't normally judged for prizes at all)!
She won a $20 gift certificate for Science Works. We are so proud of her!
